The Alabama heat is no joke. With temperatures rising in the high 90s-100 everyone needs a way to cool off! Decatur and Morgan County have some of the best places to make a splash this summer. If you are looking for a fun family-friendly activity that everyone will enjoy this summer we have the list for you!

Point Mallard Water Park

Point Mallard Water Park is home to America's first wave pool! This charming water park has it all from splash areas for the little ones to thrill slides and high dives! If you are looking for a great way to spend the day with the whole family Point Mallard is a fantastic option. For young children, Point Mallard has the "sky pond" which includes a water playset, a kiddie pool, and slides their size. If you have older children you can check out the Olympic pool, where they can test their skills on the diving boards or one of the tall platforms overlooking the pool. Point Mallard offers options for thrill seekers as well as options for those trying to relax. There are tube slides, racing slides, and the infamous white slide for two passengers. These slides are sure to get your heart pumping full of excitement! But, on the other hand, if you are wanting to chill out and relax Point Mallard's lazy river is a wonderful place to let loose and float around. For more information please check out the link below!
