What to Expect from North Alabama Airfest 2026


The North Alabama Airfest is more than your usual airshow; it’s a full weekend dedicated to the excitement of aviation. With the event bringing a weekend of high-flying excitement, aviation history, and family-friendly fun to Morgan County. From thrilling aerial performances, aircraft displays, and hands-on activities to food and entertainment, there's plenty of fun to have both in the sky and on the ground.


Visitors can explore aerial performances, static aircraft displays, get an up-close look at historic aircraft, and enjoy a variety of activities during the event.


There’s plenty of experiences for guests to enjoy between performances in the air. Visitors can browse vendors, check out interactive activities, and learn more about the aircraft and aviation professionals that make the event possible. The Airfest also offers opportunities to experience aviation from a different perspective, including helicopter rides!


Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for an exciting weekend activity, the North Alabama Airfest offers plenty to see and do both in the sky and on the ground!


A Weekend of fun for the Whole Family


Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or simply looking for something exciting to do with the family, the Airfest offers something for everyone. Kids can get an up-close look at aircraft and learn about the wonder of aviation and then join the pay-to-play Kids Zone to engage in hands-on activities, while older aviation fans can enjoy the variety of planes and performances. The event's combination of entertainment, education, and aviation makes it the perfect weekend stop in North Alabama for families of all ages.


How to Plan Your Visit


The 2026 North Alabama Airfest takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 12–13, at Pryor Field Regional Airport in Tanner. Gates will open from 11:00am-10:00pm on Saturday, and open from 11:00am to 6:00pm on Sunday. The national anthem and show kick-off are hosted at 1:00pm both days. To attend the event, you must purchase tickets online directly from the Airfest website, tickets will NOT be offered at the admission gate


Because airshow schedules and performers can change due to weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances, visitors should check the official Airfest information before heading to the event.
