Dream Weavers and Bank Street Players Bring Spectacular Shows to Decatur this July

Summer in Decatur is always a time of vibrant community events and activities, and this year, our local theatre scene is ready to steal the spotlight. We are fortunate to have two exceptional theatre troupes that bring high-quality productions to our city: Dream Weavers and the Bank Street Players. Dream Weavers, known for their dedication to bringing classic tales and contemporary stories to life, is a beloved fixture in Decatur's performing arts community. This summer, they are proud to present a production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This timeless tale of love, acceptance, and resilience is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.

Another cornerstone of our local theatre scene is the Bank Street Players. Known for their dynamic performances and community spirit, this troupe never fails to deliver a magical theatre experience. This summer, they will be enchanting audiences with Matilda! The Musical, a delightful adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book.
